St. Jude Thaddeus
Patron Saint of
Lost Causes
Feast Day
October 28
Prayers
O Holy St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr, great in virtue and rich in miracles, near kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor of all who invoke your special patronage in time of need, to you I have recourse from the depth of my heart and humbly beg to whom God has given such great power to come to my assistance. Help me in my present and urgent petition. In return I promise to make your name known and cause you to be invoked. St. Jude pray for us all who invoke your aid. Amen
This novena includes three Our Fathers, three Hail Marys and three Glorias. A special, nine-bead chaplet is often used with this novena.
Note: Publication must be promised.
There is also another novena, using a 40-bead chaplet, to honor the saint:
St. Jude, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of; pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolations and the succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (here make your request), and that I may bless God with the Elect through throughout eternity. Amen
Say a Hail Mary on each bead, followed by this invocation:
St. Jude, Apostle, martyr and relative of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of Mary and Joseph, intercede for us.
At the end of the chaplet, recite the following prayer:
Amen

You show your atheism in every thread, you deceive no one.
St. Jude has helped me in the past and I'm fulfilling my promises to him.
