Thanks to my sister and my four-year-old daughter, I have seen pretty much all of the Veggie Tales movies and own most of them. I have just about every song and line memorized just from sheer repetition. I must say that they are EXCELLENT works which my wife and I often use to illustrate points as we try to raise our children to be servants of the Lord.
The humor definitely shows echoes of Monty Python and the Coen Brothers with excellent and outrageous characterizations, witty dialog, and off-the-wall music. Tomorrow is my two-year-old's birthday and we plan on taking her and her sister to see Jonah tomorrow night. I think I'm more excited than they are!:)
