Catholic Freepers are willing to discuss and debate their theology and history online with me or anyone else. I respect that. They don't retreat into a subjective "If you'll sincerely pray God will show you I am right" apologetic. They say here's what we believe and why (citing their sources).

Unlike several FR LDS posters, no Freeper Catholic has ever slandered me and my family by stating online false accusations of criminal actions and then refusing to clarify the record. (At my persistence, after weeks White Mountain finally did. Other LDS did not.)

I disagree with the RC Church on many key theological issues, I RESPECT their willingness to explore these differences objectively. THEY are willing to give a reason for their hope, that is not the case with Freeper LDS folk.

So Grig, next time you wonder why I do something, do they courteous thing... ask me rather than posting snide remarks behind my back. Ditto to you Cubicle Guy.

Oh please. Do you really expect me to feel sorry for you after all the crude mockery you throw at us?

It hardly qualifies as 'behind your back' too, freepmail would have been 'behind your back'. I've seen posts from your group discussing me and other LDS freepers without pinging us and I don't recall any of us raising a stink about it.

As for being willing to explore these differences objectively, we are quite willing, and I enjoy it very much WHEN THE PEOPLE WE ARE TALKING WITH CAN RESPECT FOR OUR VIEW AS THEY DISAGREE WITH IT. I and the other LDS freepers began doing just that with you, but you have shown time and time again that YOU are not capable showing that respect and were only on a ego trip of casting insults and mockery at us. We belive the Savior when he said to not cast perls before swine, so we refuse to waste our time with YOU. If you don't like that, too bad, you brought it on yourself and yours and others recent promises to behave better don't win back any of the trust you have lost with us, or make us think you somehow have increased your integrety.

I almost never bother with addressing my posts to more than the person whose name comes up in the "To:" box when I respond to something. I assume that those who are already participants in the thread will eventually find it and read it. If my not flagging everyone and their mother to everything I write here on a public board in a public forum constitutes posting behind someone's back, then so be it.
