The basic point is that Rev 20 clearly states 2 resurrections that are separated by a thousand years. These control John 5; not the other way around.

Ever consider that He has already put all enemies under His feet when he rose up from the dead?

God sent the Son for two reasons.

1. To defeat death.

2. To establish the Church.
