I really need to work on my attitude toward him as I tend to think this is what he desires, or those using him as a puppet desire, perhaps. No matter how I pray, when I see JP2 I am seeing lust for power and hypocrisy.
The papal infallibility thing is, to me, so frightening. Better to be sola scriptura than to give all that power to a mere man, and to come so close to worshipping him as some seem to. LOL. At least we know Holy Scripture is divine and unerring.

PS My husband heard something about a prophecy of some kind about the pope, he keeps telling me the one after the next one is going to be a real humdinger. Is this something you are familiar with, and do you know the origin of his comment? He is unsure of what he is referring to, something a friend ( protestant) at work has talked with him about...
