Thanks for pinging me on this article. It's really a shame that some men just ignore messages from messengers they do not like. That position is counterbalanced by the number of people who ignore messengers, who bring messages they do not like. The number of people who are lost because of their whimsical, capricious and arbitrary attitudes based on personal opinions and/or personal likes and dislikes as well as real or perceived needs are legion.

IMO this attitude accounts for many of the problems that confront the Church today.I know at least fifty people who left the Church for other churches, another twenty or thirty who stayed and accomodated and are upset but passive.Another twenty or so that actually like what's happening.I know another thirty, who like me,stayed in the Church, wrote letters, picketed and attended all kinds of goofy classes in order to hold the teachers accountable to teach Truth.I also know another twenty or so that have given their all to the Pro-Life movement.

If all baptized Catholics would stay informed, they would know that no matter how much they like or dislike their pastor, bishop, rite, parish, diocese, their own little conscience or whatever, the only hope for the Catholic Church in America is to get rid of the corrupt clergy, the enabling bishops and follow the Pope and his teaching Magisterium. The article that you posted from the Seattle Catholic is one of the best analyses of the state of things today. Thanks again!!
