Can we speak of bishops and chancery staff suffering from the cult/sex abuse variation of Stockholm Syndrome? The irrational denial, etc. That other case in Texas, I think, where the monsignor scolded parishioners upset about the reinstatement of the priest involved with the homosexual chat site is another similar case.

Just the denial of homosexuality's role in all this is a disturbing example of cult-like, zombified psychopathological denial.
