According to Scripture, Antichrist will appear on the world scene as a man of peace. He will arrange a peace accord between the Arabs and the nation of Israel. He will be recognized as the man who brought peace to the world, and the Jews, at the urging of their own religious clerics, will view him as their savior.
Of course the author will never be able to provide the chapter and verse where all this is explicitly and literally stated.
I still say it's Martha Stewart....her recent troubles notwithstanding.
Pop the cork, we can finally agree on something. How about a new Forum labeled Trash, for articles like this?
LOL...I'm sorry. In fact, I'm surprised I made it this far, but this is a whacky contribution to FR.com and I've got others cats to skin...MUD
It wasn't me; nobody saw me do it!.
Yes, that is true. I remember it well, because of certain occurrences at that time. It was predicted in 1962 that the planets would line up in a manner that hasn't been since 2,000 yrs, the same as when Jesus was born. Some were saying " the end of the world", but many were saying (including Jean Dixon,) that a child was born in the East, that year, 1962, and he would be the anti christ.
I have always for some reason, stored that in the back of my mind, the yr 1962.
That's the fly in the ointment. Syria, Iraq, and other arab nations are not going to agree to such a proposal. The one piece of the game missing is the Palestinian playing card.
King Abdullah shares with Mubarak a very reasonable fear of the Palestinians, because, especially in Jordon, they make up a significant part of the population. Not one of the 22 Arab states has offered to "give" the Palestinians a "home state" and its very clear that neither can Isreal without setting up a mortal, autonomous enemy right on its own border with Jordon. No, the arabs really like the mess because the Palestinians are an "Israeli problem". So they are used by their own philosophical allies to keep the pot boiling.
King Abdullah fears an uprising and possible civil war in Jordon - started by the Palestinians. Nobody wants these bums in any country, so the logical place for most of them to end up is either in the ground or in the US - something that is slowly becoming reality.
I had no idea Saddam was that old!
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
Two horns like a lamb:
The horns have elicited various interpretations. The likeliest explanation is that Michelangelo relied on Jerome's vulgate translation of the Old Testament. In this commonly available version, the "rays of light" that were seen around Moses' face after his meeting with God on Mt Sinai were expressed as horns. Some people believe that Jerome's intention was to express a metaphor for the glory of God reflected from Moses's face.
Acts 7:22-23 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

The Jeane Dixon dream FWIW:
He's already here.
