Blue, Purple & Red

In the Bible, God gave the Israelites instructions on how to build the Mishkan, the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, the prototype for the Temple of Jerusalem. In His detailed instructions God ordained that the veils which separate the holy places would be of three specific colors, blue, purple and red. Blue, is the color of the sky, and so the colors of the heavens and the heavenly. The red, you have to be Hebrew to understand. In Israel, much of the soil is red. And the word 'Adam' comes from the Hebrew word for red 'Edom', as Adam was taken from the earth, and thus man. Purple is the blending of blue and red.

Purple speaks of heaven (blue) and earth (red) to come together as one. The purple is Messiah, God and man become one. In Messiah, your life, even your sins, are joined to God. In purple, red and blue cannot be separated. In Messiah you and God, your life and His, are joined, every part of your life is joined to Him. Don't be separated, or live apart from Him, or do anything away from Him. Live every moment of your life as one with Him. Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Messiah, just as red and blue, in purple are one.

Prepare yourself for your time with the Lord today. Prepare your heart and your thoughts to be pleasing to Him. Praise Him and worship Him with an open and pure heart.
