I found heresy in this essay against heresy. And the man who wrote it has no authority to declare what is heresy and what it not. So.........nice try.

Take it up with the calvinists - Im Arminian - Its an arminian "bash" piece

Who exactly would have "authority" to declare heresy?.....Vicarivs Filii Dei?

& what exactly was my "nice try"?

I thought the same thing as you with that post. Could be Theresa doesn't have the same historical perspective in the on going C v. A debate.

I chuckled to myself when I first saw the article and where it is from, then saw it was you who posted it. I didn't expect you to browse "those" type of sites.

Theresa is ok :>)

We must remember that Luther was addressing heresies of Rome when he nailed the paper to the door...Through the men of the reformation the heresies of that time were addressed.

Arminius and Wesley (in that time frame) worked to restore some of the faulty doctrine of Rome, Arminius was a pupet of the Jesuits.

Thus the battle rages on today. Wesleys doctrine is at its base more Roman than reformation IMHO . It is Romanism minus the saints,Mary , purgatory, and the ritual. But the theologial thrust is the same..

BTW That is from a favorite site of mine. There is actually some good stuff on there.
