Sinkspur's a good man -- I'd love to have him and his family for neighbors (though I doubt anyone that honest could stand Massachusetts). I disagree with him on a lot (and he is perhaps given to "tunnel vision" on some subjects, as I am myself if truth be told), but disagreement makes for livelier conversation. I don't think he's taken with that "Spirit of Vatican II" crap -- he actually knows the documents of Vatican II, which is more than I can say.
All of us can, of course, be driven to ad hominem attacks when we're pushed far enough. Why don't we all just quiet down and debate the merits?
