Jailing perverts would be a first good step in curing this problem.

Two different studies have found that the answers to a small number of questions about childhood and adolescent experiences included within a larger questionnaire allowed the clinical interviewer to conclude, with 90% accuracy, whether the subject was a heterosexual or a homosexual.

Yes. I'm sure. Questions like, "When you were younger, did you often find yourself sexually attracted to members of your own sex?"

" that these men almost without exception suffered from a denial of sin in their lives."

"They came to see their own pleasure as the highest end and used others"

Tragically, these mistakes allowed these men to justify their behaviors.

For a moment, I thought the article was about lawyers.

Courage is the only recovery program for those with same sex attractions which adheres to the Catholic moral teaching on homosexuality and has been endorsed by the Vatican.... Unfortunately, in some dioceses groups, such as Dignity, which do not accept the Church's teaching on sexual morality, have a voice, while Courage is not welcome.
Not only has Dignity been banned by the Vatican from using Church facilities, but it does everything it can to steer Catholics with same-sex attraction away the Vatican-approved Courage. The following is from Dignity's FAQ's:
Another network of groups, much smaller than Dignity, is Courage. Founded in the early 1980s by Fr. John Harvey, O.S.F.S., of New York City, it helps people to be celibate "in accordance with [the narrowest interpretation of] the Roman Catholic Church's teaching on homosexuality." A positive, life-enhancing celibacy is certainly a legitimate goal for those who freely choose it. But the Courage ministry rests on the belief that homosexuality is a psychological aberration, an emotional debility. Built on a 12-step program like Alcoholics Anonymous, Courage aims to have people restrain and control their "sickness." Such a negative starting point, which ignores the bulk of current scientific opinion, can hardly foster personal integration, emotional well-being, or real holiness.
The folks at Dignity are incorrigibles who will deny the Church's moral teaching and the CMA's scientific opinion till their last breath.
