Thousands died.I've seen this repeated a number of times, but nobody has ever provided documentation. I've never been able come to up with even 100 victims of mob violence against the Mormons, substantially less than the number killed in one Mormon attack on Gentiles. If you have documentation otherwise, I'd sure like to see it.

I was referring to all the Mormon explusions and subsequent "expeditions." From Susquehanna, PA to Utah. Many froze in Nebraska/Iowa and on the route west after being kicked out of Nauvoo. Many were outright killed in Missouri (renegades and militia)and Illinois. Their leaders were murdered-while helpless in jail. I doubt an exact count would be precise. But I'll be back later and see what I can find. I have several old books which doucment much of the Mormon trevails.

You sound like a Holocaust denier. No respectable historian disputes the great amound of death and suffering and injustice inflicted on the early Mormons.
