The Sante Prison in France is considered very hard to break out of. It's so well guarded that in 60 years only six prisoners have escaped. But in 1927, Leon Daudet made his break by simply walking out the front gate. How did he just walk out of a maximum security prison? He had one of his friends telephone the warden and tell him Daudet had been pardoned. The warden believed him and had Daudet released. What do we learn from this? It's not how strong you are, it's what you believe. If you believe a lie, you become subject to the lie. A strong prison that doesn't believe it has the legal power to hold a prisoner is a weak prison.
The enemy of our faith attacks with lies. If you're born again, he'll tell you you're weak, you're bound to your sins, you can never break free. You'll never know a life of victory, love or peace. If you believe the lie, that you don't have the power, you won't use it. You do have the power of God to overcome all bondage's, all sins. Don't believe the lie, believe the Good News and overcome today.
