The LDS never believe that we will be God the Heavenly Father. We will have attributes in abilities to do many things when the resurrection occurs and those who are worthy will received bodies of Flesh and Bone, as of today we have a temporal bodies of Flesh and Blood.

Actually I prefer the Bible version, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."(Eph. 2:8,9)

I also fully agree. Any obedience to any law cannot save you, yet the faithful are obedient to God.
