He was moved from ICU on Tuesday to a stepdown unit, and then to a regular room this morning. I'll be going up after lunch to see him. He really is doing wonderfully.They were worried in the ICU and the stepdown unit that something was wrong with him because they thought he was speaking gibberish. It turns out he was praying the Rosary in Gaelic while drifting in and out of sleep!
I've been to see him today, and I think he looks very tired from being moved. But he smiled a great smile when I read him some of the messages from FReepers. I talked with his oncologist who told me that they are very impressed with how well he is doing and that they are very suprised that the tumor was encapsulated.
