Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved . That is the only passage where the actual question on how one may be saved is asked.
Now what did Paul say? Do nothing! Wait and see if God will save you!
He said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house God told the jailor what he had to do and the Jailor did it and he was saved.
What the Jailor did was not a work, but he did have to do something, he had to believe in Christ.
It isn't God that gets Lucky it is the believer who reaps the rewards of God's great love for all mankind (Jn.3:16, Rom.5:8)
I do know that the Angels get a kick out of seeing someone saved!:>)
Likewise, I say unto you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repenteth Lk.15:10)
