St. Catherine of Siena deliberately told popes, queens and kings how to behave. She was spontaneous, unafraid of authority and fearless in the face of death.
Holiness is to be found everywhere in the Church, not just the hierarchy. I have been praying for St. Catherine's intercession, especially in light of the scandals that are rocking the hierarchical boat.
