Great leader my butt. We're Americans, ClancyJ. We don't elect leaders. The people who get elected to office here are employees, not leaders. Bush is just one of the hired help, not some leader who has arisen from the people as in a cheap novel.

Anyone who trusts a politician has his head up his butt. Anyone who likes a politician with only TV coverage of the politician to base his affection on is an idiot. What kind of government do you think the Constitution establishes, anyway? Read the document and tell me where you get the bizarre idea that the president "runs the country". That's lunacy. The president's job is to run one branch of the federal government, and even at that he has a set of clearly defined rules that he must follow. That's why a president is required to take an oath. Bush has ignored his oath of office ever since he was elected, just as Clinton did and just as his traitorous father did. He's an employee and a sorry one at that.

You TV addicts aren't fit to vote in our elections. If you want to worship royalty, move to England. If you won't do that then at least leave the rest of us alone when we refuse to bow and scrape before the hired help. You make me puke. Try learning what it means to be an American and then try to pretend you are one.

Good grief - do you think maybe you need a glass of orange juice to sweeten that foul mood of yours?

Sorry - I like Bush and I know what I'm talking about. I think he is just the type man we need now. I would be really interested in seeing the type man you would wish in office to sit there and "suggest" actions to be determined by the writers on FreeRepublic.

If we don't have a leader - why do other leaders come here and visit him? Why does he make a State of the Union speech - who is he to tell us how the union is going? Why are we paying the salary for him and all the others in office up there?

Sure seems a waste of money when we could just hire someone at $10/hour to do the same thing - listen to us tell him what to do.
