The last question is really the simple one: were the names of all the elect known befor the foundation of the world?

BTW, you do know that we are speak hypothetically and I'm not making any accusations at you, RIGHT?

Woody, there are reasons in the Bible to believe that God changes course. This could mean that God continues to update his foreknowing. (Jonah and Ninevah; God telling Moses he'd start over using Moses' line instead of those who were there before him. There is the idea of contingency in the bible.)

And the Bible says that "those" he foreknew he predestined. You already know what I believe that indicates....foreknowledge precedes predestination.

That automatically means that we are in the process of working out those choices RIGHT NOW! And that when God foresaw each choice that it was a true, free choice.

That makes it so that RIGHT NOW is the first time it's EVER HAPPENED!

Now, I've told you this dozens of times in the past. Has it changed your mind? Has it changed the name of anyone on the pre-selected list.

One of the great arguments against calvinism is that it turns all of life into futility and meaninglessness.
