God does not stand at the door of a perverse and wicked heart and knock to be let in. The perverse heart will speak from its abundance. The perverse heart will tell Jesus off!!!

Oh, you're on all sides of that one. Now, you purport to "worry" that no one will accept Christ.

Earlier, your colleagues worried that merely presenting the Gospel of Christ led to "easy believism" (whatever that is) and that you had a responsibility to make it 'tougher'. (the Pharisees agreed with you on that, by the way.)

Now, you pretend to worry that everyone will just "tell Jesus off." OK, let's just do what the Bible tells us to do, and let everyone know that Christ died for them (Oh, I know, you disagree, but let's tell them anyway) and we'll just see who accepts Christ.

Now, if you're right and we're wrong, God will pay no attention to these 'false confessions' of Christ (just as you so confidently predict) and He will damn tham anyway. No harm, no foul. (At least to you and your group; you'll still have Heaven all to yourselves.)

But, IF (and I know this is so foolish you can't even consider it) you might not have all eternal truth in your little construct and you have it just a teensie-weensie bit wrong and those decisions for Christ help even one little one gain Heaven and avoid Hell, wouldn't that be great?

Cf. Matt 18:12-13. ("...What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying? If it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. ")

So, what have you got to lose?

This is not talking about salvation. But, I bet that you believe it is!

As winston has not responded yet, I must assume that he does not know what the gospel is. 5 words or less... Straight out of the Bible... and winston is silent!
