Read it - you do have a bible I presume. Ecclesiastes 9 requires no "personal" interpretation or any other kind. It's quite clear in it's scope and meaning. It just happens that Catholic philosophy has people believing things contrary to scripture so any excuse that can be found must be employed to cop out on it.
