Cute? I can name quite a few Bible passages that fundamentalists take literally that are "cute." But I guess pointing out the faults of other people is just not my doing, but like all people I make mistakes. The successes the Catholic Church has achieved is unmatchable with any other religion. What significant achievement has fundamentalism achieved for the world. Other than taking up lots of channels with paid programs.

The successes the Catholic Church has achieved is unmatchable with any other religion. Not quite true. But, I'm sure nothing I'm going to say will assuage your adulations. I would note that the propaganda is always better than the facts. And I wasn't picking at you, I was picking at the verse you chose or do you not see the difference.
As far as what fundamentalism has done, Fundamentalist Christians spend huge budgets on feeding the poor, building homes, infrastructure and churches in poor countries and providing schools and supplies for them - even teachers. They feed bodies and souls alike. Where have you been all your life. Or are you yet another who reads only the authorized church propaganda?
I'm glad you can name Bible passages. I just wonder why you choose to accept for authority things which are not scripture and which are at odds with scripture? You certainly quote from them. Wait, I keep forgetting I'm Christian and you're Catholic. If we were of the same religion perhaps I should expect you to know better. Carry on.
