If God made all things, then why is it so inconcievable that His hand guides evolution? Oldcats Perhaps you could give us some clue as to how evolution would be different if guided. You need to hurry, because the mechanics are currently under study. Evolution is quickly moving from science to engineering, from study of fossils to active laboratory investigation.

"Perhaps you could give us some clue as to how evolution would be different if guided"
As I have said in another post, this is not really my idea, I read something like it years ago, and do not remember where, so I really can't answer your question fully, but I will give it a shot.
Maybe the question could be asked...how would it be different if it WASN'T guided? :)
Perhaps "guided" is the wrong word...how about "set in motion". Sort of on the lines of Intellectual Design...although I have problems with that theory.
Perhaps God set the gears of evolution in motion and is letting it run it's course? See, I believe that evolution is continuous and still in motion.
Again, please don't expect me to be the expert on this.
