His postings are way less insultive than yours.

That's what the abuse button is for; if you think I've insulted somebody in an unwarranted fashion, tell the moderator about it and see if he agrees with you. If he does, he'll (minimally) remove the post. Is there anything complicated about that?

As far as I know, I am basically insulting an ideological doctrine and not individuals other than for Chuck Darwin, Stephen Gould, and a handful of such public figures who can deal with it. What several of the little evo clique have done recently is not the same thing at all. They've posted what amount to vicious personal smears which are borderline for libel and which the FR moderators clearly do not want on their forum. Anybody who can't see the difference is basically blind.

American libel law does not stop at the internet. The fact that I lack the time, money, or inclination to really go after the idiots on talk.origins who keep that kind of thing around on their web site or people who post those things or links to them on other forums does not make having that kind of thing on forums a reasonable idea and the FR moderators know that.

"Paranoia strikes deep...into your life it will creep"
Nothing meant by that, just singing along with the radio...
As for the first part of your response...I am not the one that is whinning about banning people am I?

The big defense of libel is "fair comment and criticism." Once the posts you pulled the quotes from and the posts to which they are replying are taken in context, there is the distinct possibility that they will fall under the fair comment and criticism category. You can prove anything you want by taking quotes out of context, which is called "quote mining" and is mentioned in one of the quotes you mined above.

Now, you have a right to hold whatever crazy ideas you adhere to -- the Constitution says so. However, your spamming each and every thread with those ideas, while it is your "right" shows a horrible lack of courtesy toward others. It is the equivalent of those crazy guys who stand on the street corner calling everyone sinners -- no one actually listens to them, and they are simply annoying everyone around them. Now we have courteously offered you a possible solution -- your very own thread -- but you seem intent on ignoring the feelings of others in the exercise of your right to babble on.
