Now now...granted Gore is not that great of a guy, but to lump him in the same group as g3....that may be a little harsh. Had to think about that one for a minute. (Am I spending too much time on these threads?)
Whatever did happen to Tipper's husband, the guy with the weird make-up job?
To: VadeRetro
Thanx for the link....
I used this topic for my senior debate in H.S. Won hands down. Now the odd part of this is that it was a Catholic H.S.
The science teacher at that school was a Jusuit priest who was the first religous person I met that believed in evolution. He was a very smart man.

Whooo-Hooo...I hit 2000!!! Longest-running crevo thread ever, methinks.

The science teacher at that school was a Jusuit priest who was the first religous person I met that believed in evolution. Just shows to go ya, it can be done.

It was No-Kin-To-Monkeys, By the way, where is he/she/it?
To: AndrewC
Back in lurk mode, per last post. Why?
The "it" is unnecessary. No-Kin is one of your most personable brethren, even if he (I suspect "he," but not sure why) felt it necessary to keep you from spoiling the little experiment in hat-switching we had going.
To: VadeRetro
Back in lurk mode, per last post. Why?You have the uncanny ability to invoke his presence.
To: AndrewC
You have the uncanny ability to invoke his presence. You caught me. I'm really JediGirl, too.
To: VadeRetro
You caught me. I'm really JediGirl, too.If you say so.

I also blew out your phony Java Man transformed into a homo erectus. Considering I've never mentioned Java Man that would be quite a feat. Now, I did mention (and posted articles) that Homo Erectus may have survived on Java until about 50,000 years ago, but that does not mean I've linked that with Java Man. Your "lying for God" is going to get you into trouble time and again.

There are more of us than the others than they think.

But wait...wasn't HE the one that was whinning about us lying about him behind his back?

Please note, dear boy, that "three ear bones" goes hand-in-hand with differentiated dentiture, warm-bloodedness, and having a certain number of holes in one's skull. Each of these can be ascertained from skeletal remains. This combination is not shared by any other group of animals. Period. If scientists are not allowed to draw conclusions that, based on the fact that all living animals share these traits then all extinct animals with these traits are most probably mammals, then what is science to do? You seem to believe that simply because there is no living representation of a particular animal that we cannot with any certainty classify it shows a woefull lack of knowledge when it comes to basic biology, let alone evolutionary theory. You are completely ignorant of that which you purport to preach on, as anyone on these threads can see, and many have commented upon.

How were the genes transferred from the Euglena to man? You stupid, stupid boy. Have you not gleaned one thing from these discussions (you haven't, as is readily apparent). Okay, I'll type s-l-o-w-l-y so you can understand it. There WAS NO TRANSFER OF GENES FROM EUGLENA TO MAN. Both received that particular gene from a common ancestor that lived a V-E-R-Y long time ago. Are you completely incapable of comprehending even simple evolutionary concepts? If so, why do you consider yourself able to refute the theory? All you refute are a few strawmen that you toss up (the Java Man thingy comes to mind).
To: oldcats
That has got to be the most stupid, inane thing I have ever seen you post... Considering this is gore3000 we are talking about, that's quite an accomplishment.
To: Junior
Be careful...you know how sensitve he is...wouldn't want to say anything about him behind his back and hurt his feelin's..
What kind of tree....sheeeeesh.

To: Junior; AndrewC
Considering this is gore3000 we are talking about, that's quite an accomplishment. One might think AndrewC would accuse me of being the robotic, self-discrediting gore3000 instead of genial, sincere No-Kin-To-Monkeys. But gore has never snapped at Andrew.
To: VadeRetro
Lucky Andrew!!!
Give him time...we all must suffer the rubber barbs of his wrath sooner or later.
