The point remains that you're asking for verifiable evidence of a potentially unverifiable phenomenon. The argument has been made that something could exist that is not subject to verifiability.

The possibility of something existing that cannot be verified to exist is there, however, it is so remote as to present no compelling reason for me to believe its existance. Examples are sasquatch, yeti, the Loch Ness monster, U.F.O's, elves, unicorns, devils, leprechauns, demons, gnomes, angels, hobbits, and gods.

Yeah, it's not like we read "Lord of the Rings" (or see it) and think it's evidence of elves. Yet the Bible is taken as evidence of gods. Bizarre.
