🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem🇮🇱 (10/26/26)[Prayer]

Psalm 64[a]

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

1  Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;

    protect my life from the threat of the enemy.

2  Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,

    from the plots of evildoers.

3  They sharpen their tongues like swords

    and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.

4  They shoot from ambush at the innocent;

    they shoot suddenly, without fear.

5  They encourage each other in evil plans,

    they talk about hiding their snares;

    they say, “Who will see it[b]?”

6  They plot injustice and say,

    “We have devised a perfect plan!”

    Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

7  But God will shoot them with his arrows;

    they will suddenly be struck down.

8  He will turn their own tongues against them

    and bring them to ruin;

    all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.

9  All people will fear;

    they will proclaim the works of God

    and ponder what he has done.

10  The righteous will rejoice in the Lord

    and take refuge in him;

    all the upright in heart will glory in him!

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD,

Our God,

How Excellent is Your Name Over All The Earth!

We Come into Your Presence With Praise and Thanksgiving.

For You Alone Are Worthy,

You Alone Are Are LORD,

You Alone Are The Most High,

You Alone Are The One True God.

How good it is to sing praises to You,

For You Are Gracious,

And a Song of Praise is fitting.

Let all that has been Concealed

Be Revealed.


 Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,

According To Your Will and Promise.

We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins of Our Own Nation,

and Lead us all to Godly Repentance

Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,

and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.


 This we Pray Together,

As We Await Your Messiah,

Blessed Be He,

To Set Up His Kingdom,

And Make All Things Right.

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)

Just when you think the News couldn't get any worse...It Gets Worse. From the words of Today's Psalm, we can see that this is not a new phenomenon. Evil has been around for a long time, and even though the Ancients did not have all of our modern technology, they had the "sinning" down to a Science. And, conversely, all of our "science" has not made us better people. "Ransomware" is still Hyjacking, "Identity Theft" is still Stealing, "Fake News" is still False Witness, "Doxxing" is still Slander, and "Murder" is still Murder. Technology only makes it more convenient. Perhaps it even make sin easier for the people who might not have gone in that direction had they not been offered the anonymity of the Internet.

Of course, the Number One sin, Idolatry, is made infinitely easier with computers. People can become You Tube Celebrities overnight, and make themselves into "little gods". Their followers idolize them and make money for them as well. (I have a confession to make...I spend more time online than in church, but at least I'm PRAYING to the One True God while I'm at it, and, hopefully, being a blessing to others.)

Conversely, Today's Psalm reads as if it were penned this morning. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)
