Use The Spiritual To Change Your Physical

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

So, there are things seen(which are physical) and things not seen(which are spiritual). The not seen is eternal(everlasting) that can't be referring to anything physical because Luke 21:33 says, Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my word shall not pass away. So, that can't be talking about anything physical, because nothing physical is eternal. So, man inhabits 2 realms at the same time. I think sometimes people forget about the spirit side of man. And sometimes put all the emphasis on the physical material realm not understanding that the physical material realm is only the product or fruit of the spiritual realm. Fruit is never the source it's only the result. Hebrews 11:3 says, 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. And people tend to look at the physical material world as the real and the spirit world as just something that's out there, but that is far from the truth. Notice, what you can see comes from what you can't see. Nothing originates in this physical material realm, nothing. If you can see it, feel it, taste it, touch it, smell it then it is a product of the spiritual. Your dress, your car, your cell phone, your house, everything that manifests here is the result of the spiritual.

Man is a spirit and as such he resides in the spirit realm. So, whatever he does it's done from the realm of the spirit and he uses his body to make contact and do things in this physical material world. Something is done in the spiritual for something to manifest in the physical. Look at Matthew 15:18,19 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Notice, what Jesus is saying that whatever you see a person doing it's because it's what's in his heart, so there is a spiritual side/component behind it. Notice, in 2 Corinthians 5:10 it says, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Notice, it says things done in the body and not by the body. Notice, he's making a distinction between the person(spirit) and the body(physical), because the body only displays what's going on in the spiritual. Again, you can only see physically because of what's happening spiritually. Everything you see has a spiritual side/component.

Notice, the verse says, While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. God's talks about being spiritually minded, that's because man is spirit. And if you as a spirit try to live this life by your flesh you are going to miss out on a lot of what God has already prepared for you down here, not when you get to heaven. That's why it says, to be carnally minded is death, death is separation, which means as long as you are carnally minded you can not access the things or grace God has provided for you. Understand God is outside of this physical realm and when He does something it's done in the spirit and has to be received into this material, physical realm. Spirit is the original form of existence. Before there was anything physical there was spiritual. And man is spirit and lives in a physical body in a physical world. But, man still has the capacity to function in the spiritual, by faith. By faith you access a higher realm were God has already laid up provisions for you. How do I know that, because that's what the scripture says. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, if it's not a thing, if it doesn't exist how can you have the substance of it.

Proverbs 4:23 says, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Even though people are most aware of the natural side of life, but actually life proceeds from the spiritual side. Notice, it says life proceeds from your heart(spiritual side) not the natural side. The physical can not exist without the spiritual. Hebrews 1:3 says, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, and the word is spiritual. The word (spiritual) rules over the physical material realm.

Look at 2 Kings 4:38-44 38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. 39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not. 40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof. 41 But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot. 42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat. 43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the Lord, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof. 44 So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the Lord.

Notice, that servitor knew he didn't have enough food to feed one hundred hungry men, but the man of God is not going by what the man had in his hands, but only by what God said. The man of God put his faith in what God said, not what was in the man's hands. You can't give up just because things don't appear as God said. Numbers 23:19 says, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? You don't have to worry about God saying one thing and doing another. He said in Psalm 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. God will never say one thing and do another and what God says is the truth of the matter. Just because something is presently before you that doesn't make it truth if it's contrary to God's word the most it can be is fact. In Romans 3:3,4 it reads, For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar. Notice what he's saying, numbers don't equal truth, just because a majority says something that doesn't make it truth.

The only measure for truth is God's word. And if every man on earth says the same thing if it's not in line with God's word then every man is a liar, not God. God can not lie, can not be wrong, and can not fail. When God speaks it's a reality in the spiritual, that's why it says while we look not at the things which are seen(that's this physical, material realm), but at the things which are not seen(that's the spiritual realm). Spiritual is the original form of existence, before there was anything physical there was spiritual first. And since the spiritual gave form to the physical and is upholding the physical which one is more real. The reason God doesn't want you focusing on what is seen is because it's only fruit, which means it's not the determining factor. The physical material realm being the product or fruit of the spiritual realm means determinations/outcomes are actually made in the spiritual, not the physical.That's what Jesus is showing us when he made such statements as-"According to your faith be it unto you" "As you have believed so be it done unto you" "Thy faith has made you whole." Faith deals with the spiritual, so the determinations were made in the spiritual.

Outcomes are not determined in the physical, material realm, they can't be, because it's only the product or fruit of the spiritual. That's why the scripture says, While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen. The physical, material realm is just a reflection of the spiritual. What do I mean it's just a reflection of the spiritual, it only shows what is being done or has been done in the spiritual (Matt. 15:18,19 remember you only see physically because of the spiritual. So, if you take it away in the spiritual you can't have it in the physical.) God said to me, it's just like you standing in front of a mirror, that reflection is only a product of you and as a product of you it can only do according to you and it is dependent on you. In other words if you being the source of it smile then the reflection will smile. You source will never smile and your reflection frown, never. Notice, the reflection does not determine what is seen, the source does. So likewise, the physical material realm does not determine what is seen/the outcome, the spiritual does because it is the source of the physical material realm. If you deal with the source the fruit or product has no choice, but to line up. Matt. 7:17,18 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

When you deal with things at the root the fruit has no say so. And the roots are always spiritual. (The law of cause and effect--the Cause/spiritual the Effect/physical--There has to be a cause/an act to have an effect/manifestation. The cause is spiritual and the effect is physical. What's done in the spiritual causes a manifestation in the physical.) When Adam ate from The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil that was a spiritual act and that spiritual act caused effects in this physical material realm. Before Adam sinned there was no sickness, because there must be a spiritual component/ part for there to be a physical manifestation. Once there was a spiritual component there were physical manifestations. If you take away that sickness in the spiritual you can't have it in the physical. That's what Jesus did, he established people as healed in the spiritual to cut it off in the spiritual and once it was cut off in the spiritual the manifestation ceased. The man at the pool of Bethesda, the man was lame and yet Jesus commanded him to rise, take up his bed, and walk. A lame man can't rise, take up his bed, and walk, but a healed man can. Jesus was calling him healed to establish it in the spiritual for it to manifest physical. Once it was established in the spiritual a man that was lame for 38 years was able to get up and walk off.

There is a purpose for calling things that be not as though they were, you establish the spiritual for it to manifest physical. Abraham had to call things that be not as though they were to establish the spiritual for it to manifest physical. He was not a father of many nations in this physical material realm, but in the spiritual. But notice, just because it was a reality of the spiritual it didn't just manifest physically, it had no effect on his body. It was up to Abraham to establish it in the spiritual for it to manifest physical. Because, life is spiritual and once you see the other side and establish it you can have it in this physical material realm. Don't see spiritual as less real just because you can't see it, it's still just as real if not more real than what you can see. For instance, John 4:24 says, God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And yet 1 Timothy 3:16 says, And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. Was God any more real as flesh than He is as a spirit, of course not. Notice, He's just as real in both forms, but He was spirit first. Everything is first spiritual before it's physical.

Notice, in John 1:14 it says, And the word was made flesh, spiritual can become physical material, but it's first spiritual. So, when you first start to call things that be not as though they were understand that the thing you are speaking is in spiritual form, you can't see it. But, just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not real, it's just in a different form. Just like when you put a seed in the ground, you don't start off with a full grown tree, you start off with a seed and as you tend to it that seed starts to take form of the thing that you planted it for. Well, Jesus said words are seeds so when you call things that be not as though they were you don't start off with a finished product, something seen. You start off with a seed and the seed has the potential to become the thing you are speaking for. Jesus was the physical manifestation of everything the word said about him, the word made flesh. You are not living a natural life, you are spirit, you are living a spiritual life, but you are living this spiritual life either according to the natural or according to the spiritual. Don't let what's going on around you and to you cause you to conform to it. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, renewed to the spiritual were man fell from. Man was so spiritually minded they didn't know they were naked. Genesis 2:25 says, And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. But, after they sinned it says in Genesis 3:9-11

And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

That's a strange question, Who told you that you were naked. They were so in tuned with the spiritual their mind wasn't on their bodies. Don't let what's happening here in this physical realm stop you from walking according to the spiritual. You are a spirit and you are living a spiritual life, not a natural life.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
