SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, our Heavenly Father never intended His children to live weighed down by the cares and troubles of this fallen last days world. Instead, He calls us to lift our hearts and minds by faith on High to our risen victorious Savior, Who is seated at the right hand of Almighty God the Father (Psalm 110:1, Eph. 2:6, Col. 3:1-4)! He commands us to set all our hope and expectations on all of His ETERNAL precious promises found within His Holy Word (John 17:17, Eph. 1, Colossians 3:1–4).

As an eagle soars high above the storm by just spreading its wings, the child of God learns to rise far above all doubt, fear and discouragement by simple childlike faith in their ETERNAL Rock, Foundation, and Faithful Shepherd (Heb. 11:6). We do not ever rise by our own strength or by our own efforts, but we rise with child like faith, trusting in our Heavenly Father's Word and resting in His ETERNAL faithful care. It is He that guides, provides, and leads us through the valley of the shadow of death. It is He in His strength that allows us to soar far over all calamity and strife, and when the worst is yet to be, we know that He has a purpose and plan in it all. Beloved, we are to always find our hope in Him, to know that He is faithful and that He always is with us (Isa. 26:3, Phil. 4:6-7).

Beloved, as we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, His peace steadies our hearts and His truth becomes our weapon against all fear, temptation, and the lies of the enemy. Our Heavenly Father reminds us that our true ETERNAL life is hidden with Christ, and one day we will appear before Him in glory with exceedingly great joy!

No matter what we face today, we can live with an ETERNAL perspective rooted in our precious Heavenly Father. Our Faithful Shepherd as well is always faithfully leading us through Death's dark valleys, strengthening us, and carrying us by His grace until the day we see Him face to face and are with Him FOREVERMORE. Indeed, God gives us eagles' wings in this demonic fallen world, as we soar over it all by faith into His very presence one day!

Am I looking at my circumstances or at my risen ETERNAL Savior?

How can I keep my heart and mind focused on Almighty God's ETERNAL promises today?

What fear or burden do I need to place into my Heavenly Father's hands and surrender it fully?

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving me ETERNAL hope that reaches beyond this temporal fallen world. Please help me to keep my eyes fixed on my precious Jesus and to live with a biblical ETERNAL perspective.

When fear, sorrow, or discouragement comes, please graciously remind me that my life is hidden with Christ and that You are always faithfully working in me. Teach me to trust Your promises, stand upon Your Word, and walk by faith each day until I am with You.

Strengthen me through Your Holy Spirit to rise far above the horrific storms of life, knowing that You are always with me and that Your grace is always sufficient. May my life reflect the hope, peace, and joy that are found only in Jesus Christ.

I ask these things in the precious name of Jesus. Even so come. Amen.
