In a striking display of tacky symbolism, Robert Prevost, the first American born pope cynically chose the momentous 250th Anniversary of America’s founding not to celebrate the nation’s extraordinary experiment in laws and liberty, but to rebuke it over illegal immigration. On a day commemorating 250 years of blood, sweat, sacrifice, and perseverance to build and preserve this “sweet land of liberty” under the rule of law, Robert Prevost chose instead to denounce America’s enforcement of its borders, branding resistance to illegal immigration a “grave sin.”

Whatever else he is, the Pope is a globalist European head of state and a Chicago Democrat.
