Josh Hokit followed up his praise of Jesus with “Michelle Obama is a man!”.....I say this in a non judgemental way but you’d have to agree, it was a little cringe worthy.
Having said that, I follow UFC fairly closely and yes, I hear fighters share faith based statements fairly regularly.
Unfortunately however, that is many times once again followed by some sort of expletive.
Usually the F bomb or recently one fighter even dropped a GD.
That concerns me because people hear the praise and then language of this world and think “they are no different than I am”.
If that happens I fear we’ve lost ground on sharing the good news.
Yes they should be cautious regarding foul language
especially when addressing the public

It seems that it’s the fighters IN the UFC who are spreading the message, not the UFC itself.
The other fighter is Brazilian mixed martial artist Mauricio Ruffy.
One of the things people need to understand is fighters hail from countries world wide in an attempt to compete in the UFC league. It is the pinical of mma fighting.
I’ve always said one of the best gigs in the UFC besides announcing the fights are the interpreters. 😁

There are fighters in the UFC of many religions....I imagine Dana White doesn’t want to offend fans that are of other faiths.
I think the real story here is the UFC doesn’t attempt to stop fighters from sharing their Christian faith......unlike other sports leagues I could name.
