Getting Acquainted With The Spiritual

In Genesis chapter 1 you see the phrase, "God said and it was so or God said and He saw." Here's the thing what God says is so whether you see it or not. And just as sure as God said and made this physical (visible) realm, God said and made the spiritual (invisible) realm. There is an invisible realm. Notice, in Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. An invisible God created all things. In 2 Corinthians 4:17,18 it says, For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. So, there are things that are not seen that does not mean they are not real just unseen. And the only way you can walk in the invisible things of God is by faith. That's why the Bible says in 2Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith and not by sight". You see in Heb. 11:1 faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. In Hebrews 11:3 notice how the worlds were framed, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. What were things made of? They were made of God's word, which Romans 10:8 calls the word of faith. In Luke 6:45 Jesus said, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Notice, he says the person brings forth. When you speak what's in your heart you bring that thing forth into the physical realm. In the natural when you see something you like in a store and you want to buy it there's a method of exchange. If you have the money, you give them the money and they give you the product. In the spiritual there's a method of exchange. If you get a revelation of the spiritual and it's something you want to receive, faith is the currency of the spiritual. And sometimes people think just having faith is enough, no, it has to be released. In the natural if you just have the money in your pocket does just having it in your pocket permit you to take the product with you, no, that's illegal. That's why once you believe the word over what you see to bring the thing into physical manifestation/to receive it the next thing to do is to speak. In 2Corinthian 4:13 it says when you believe you speak. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

And when you believe and speak you receive (Mark 11:23) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Notice, you don't receive until you release. When the word becomes your faith and you speak it that word will work to bring to pass what's spoken. God said in Isaiah 55:11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Notice, God said that it (his word) will accomplish when it's returned to him so that's not out of his mouth that's out of ours. But, you will most likely never get there if all you focus on or all you know is your circumstances. Like in 2 Kings 6:12-17 when the king of Syria sent his army to capture Elisha for telling the king of Israel his battle plans that God told him. By night they surrounded the city and when the man of God servant saw them he panicked, but Elisha told him fear not for there is more with us than be with them. Physically, it was two against thousands, but then the man of God prayed, "Lord open his eyes that he may see and The Lord opened his eyes and he saw them surrounded with chariots of fire. When you put your focus on the problem you loose sight of the power of God. Like Peter when Jesus told him to come to him out on the water, he got out of the boat and walked on the water until he saw the waves boisterous. Notice, when he changed focus from Jesus to the waves he began to sink.

That's the opposite of what Abraham did, when he was 100 years old and his body was dead and his wife was old and barren, but God said they would have a son. Romans 4:19 says, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. There may be situations and circumstances in life where things don't look like what God has said, but that don't change God's word. John 17:17 says, Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. God's word is truth whether it appears to be or not. Your senses can't tell you the full story of the matter. 1Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. So your natural man(senses) can't tell you the truth, but your spirit can. Magnify God over your circumstances, you can't make God bigger than what He is, but you can magnify him in your sight. For instance the children of Israel when they came back from spying out the land 10 of the 12 spies came back with a report based on how they saw themselves. They said they were as grasshoppers in there own sight and in the sight of the inhabitants of the land. But, two of them had a report that magnified God above the circumstances. Numbers 14:6-9---- 6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: 7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. 8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. 9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

What you focus on you magnify. And the more you focus on your problems the more you shrink God in your sight. If you change your outlook you will change your outcome. Your faith and your words are based on how you see things. How each one saw things is how they believed and spoke. And how each one believed and spoke is what they got. In Numbers 14:28 God told them, 28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you. That was not God's will for them, Deuteronomy 1:6-8 says, 6 The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: 7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. 8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. God said go in and possess the land, 10 of the spies said they were not able and the rest of the people agreed with the 10 spies. Always agree with God, for the word says, In the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses shall every word be established. So, when the people agreed with the 10 they established that for themselves. What you establish is what you walk out, that's why it's best to agree with God. So you establish the word in your life when you voice your agreement with God.

John 8:31,32 says, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Your circumstances are fact, but God's word is truth. Fact is defined as-Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses. And truth is defined as-Truth can be described as the true state of a matter. We have accepted facts as truth. The truths of God has to be received by faith. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. With the heart you believe and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Confession means to say the same thing, so the way to receive from God is to agree with God, in the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses every word is established. See, it's going to be hard to receive from God talking contrary to his word. So, what you speak is important. If you can look past your circumstances and get a revelation of the spiritual and put your faith in it and agree with it that truth will make you free from that fact. Notice, in John 1:14 it says, "And the word was made flesh" referring to Jesus. But, any word of God you believe and speak can become flesh/physical/manifested. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

There are realities of the spiritual that are just as real as your circumstance in the physical, but they have to be received. Example Mark 5;25-34---25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Where did she get if I may but touch his clothes from, Malichin4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (referring to his clothes). Notice, God had healing for her already stored up and it was just a matter of her knowing how to receive it. It's in the spiritual where God has already laid up your answer, now it's just a matter of receiving.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The way I learned it was, the real reality is all around us but we are unable to interact with it. This is due to the fact that we live in a physical body and those physical senses are not privy to the real reality of the spiritual realm. Biblically speaking, if our physical eyes were suddenly opened to that realm, most people would simply die from fright anyway. Interestingly enough, the CERN team has been conducting particle experiments for years where the outcomes of those experiments are unable to be explained unless there is, what they would refer to it as, a 4th dimension. They are likely simply seeing the results of whatever experiments they are conducting interacting with the real reality around us that we are unable to see.
