🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(5/1/26)[Prayer]

A New Study For A New Year: Personalities

Numbers 20:14-29

14 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us:

15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:

16 And when we cried unto the Lord, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border:

17 Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders.

18 And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword.

19 And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing anything else, go through on my feet.

20 And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand.

21 Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him.

22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.

23 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,

24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:

26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there.

27 And Moses did as the Lord commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our God and Heavenly Father,
How Holy is Your Name!
Thank You For Giving Us Hope,
Perseverance,
Stamina,
and Determination,
And Thank You for Giving Us Clear Direction,
even when we seem to forget.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.

I didn't complain online about last week, but it was a rough one.

First of all, it was Spring Break. That means no Lessons. So for me it was unpaid leave. I had no money, but still needed to buy gas at over $4.00 a gallon. I was supposed to get my bike last week, but other "events" interfered. I couldn't get it this week either, as my brother has been away for much-needed family time in Myrtle Beach. So...Maybe next week. It was too cold and rainy to ride enjoyably last week anyway.

On Saturday, my sister called me in a panic. Her Blood Pressure was over 200 and she was afraid she was having a stroke. I drove her to the ER and we were there SIX hours. THANK GOD it wasn't a stroke, but a reaction to OTC Cold Medicine. It stressed me out, though!

We had coveted tickets to attend a Gala Benefit Concert for Autism, and had to stay home. Sis and I were SO disappointed!

Tuesday, Sis called me again. It Turned out that the BP was due to a massive Sinus Infection and she thought her face was going to explode with the pain. I took her to the ER but it was only THREE Hours this time. They gave her antibiotics and sent her home.

Wednesday, I went to the gym to chill out with a nice long ride on the stationary bike. The Bike was Out of Order, so I hit the Treadmill and promptly twisted my Achilles Tendon! YIKES! It HURT SO MUCH! I was out of commission for a few days and was unable to do the few remaining lessons that hadn't been canceled for Spring Break. Luckily, the Daily Meditations were about Moses's Explosive Temper and the Dire Consequences, so I kept my cool. And here we are.

Today's Scripture Portion meets Moses on a very BAD week. His Beloved Sister Miriam passes away, and she is buried in the desert. Not even a monument to visit later. The little girl who ran along the banks of the Nile to rescue her baby brother, who cleverly got Moses's own Mother as a nurse, who participated in the Exodus, and who quarreled with Moses over his choice of a wife...she was gone.

Then there was that incident at the Rock. Because of Moses's Tantrum, he found out that he would never enter the Promised Land.

Nevertheless, he forged onward till he got to the land of Edom. These were distant brethren, descended from Esau, Jacob's Brother. Surely they wouldn't mind the Children of Israel just passing through. They would stay on the road, not eat or drink anything but their own provisions, and pay for any damage. But, would the Edomites allow them? The answer was a resounding "NO!" complete with soldiers and weapons.

Moses turns the group aside to avoid another war.

Then, his Brother Aaron, his Spokesperson to Pharaoh, and High Priest of the Community, DIES. Aaron is also buried in the desert with no monument.

I can't even imagine the Anguish and Grief that Moses was experiencing.

It makes my week look not so bad after all.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Psalm 91

1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.

One of my favorite scriptures is “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.” Praying there will be a 7 fold return on all the enemy stole from you.

Agreeing with you for the peace of Jerusalem.
