I remember the story of a confused radio DJ, who prided himself on “Name that tune” song identification trivia.
The caller told him the lyrics he remembered were both tasteless and puzzling. “Cutting her legs off”. Only after some hours did he figure out it was “Kyrie Eleison”.
He still laughed about it years later.
The Kyrie Eleison is the only Greek in the mass IIRC.
Can’t read the article without hearing that song….
