Bishop Joseph Williams of the Diocese of Camden, covering southern New Jersey and its Philadelphia suburbs, announced the settlement Tuesday in a letter.

A New Jersey Catholic diocese this week agreed to a $180 million settlement to resolve allegations of clergy sexual abuse, a figure far exceeding agreements in some large dioceses but still dwarfed by other massive settlements.

Bishop Joseph Williams of the Diocese of Camden, covering southern New Jersey and its Philadelphia suburbs, announced the settlement Tuesday in a letter.

Maybe the Catholic diocese should stop allowing pedophiles and child molesters in their ranks would be the smarter thing to do and when they find these pedophiles and child molesters they castrate them then crucify them on an upside down cross... Actually prove they are doing something to end it instead of paying out for the cover up.

Yeah because they wear “I’m a pedo” on their shirt when they apply.

They should be immediately run out of their office when discovered and sent to a monastery for the rest of their lives for prayer and repentance for the horror they have committed.

Maybe they should be vetted properly.

You don’t run these types of people out of office for prayer and repentance.. you end their lives so they never hurt anyone again.

Money from poor people, but pay the sin tax and move forward. Pay the victims to help, pay their lawyers for being too cheap to pay the victims enough earlier, pay until it scares the bishop to make transparency and changes permanent, pay satan these good folks’ donations so it hurts deeply and everybody swears to God they will linch the next cover-upper of a succumving-to-evil human priest.

And pray for everyone involvrd, the good and the bad...that every soul is given the grace for mercy and justice, repentence, forgiveness, and ultimately, God’s mercy and love: heaven.
