Luke 21 Radio: Catholic Bible prophecy in the tradition of St. Augustine
Just wait for the Protestant flamers.
I like how the Mass is described in the book of Revelations.
My favorite book!
Especially the last couple chapters.
I argued to my Bible study recently two things.
1. Millions of people will be going off world in the coming decades. It will look like the rapture but it won’t be except on large timescales.
2. The human race is slowly cracking up into subgroups that may not be be able to interbreed. When the temple I Jerusalem is rebuilt . The abomination in the temple will be a statue of a man. It will be done as a gesture to the primacy of man over these other subgroups. But it will be the signal of the end of earth history. Humanity will be long gone to the stars.

When Charlie was killed, my revenge on the demon was to promise to read the Bible through. I found a guide at https://www.fivedaybiblereading.com/five-day-bible-reading-schedule/ and started reading. Am on Week 19 and still going strong.
Only issue is, I hit questions and don’t know where to get my q’s answered. Today, one of the chapters assigned was Acts 16. Verse 6 says:
“6 And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. “
Why? Why were Paul and Timothy forbidden to speak in Asia?
Acts 16:6-10 They passed through the Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia; and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; and passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
Maybe it was because they were to go elsewhere as the following verses state they were sent. God had His reasons.
I remember once that there was some building project I was inclined to support and when I went to write the check, I just couldn't do it. I strongly felt God said *No. Don't.*
A few weeks later the building burned to the ground. (It was an old building made of wood from a century ago. No insurance money involved.)
There’s always here to ask, although you may get more answers than you wish.
There’s also this website that seems pretty reliable.

Gods Word always gives an answer. And it is enough. It is a good question though, and I suspect the Holy Spirit might give you a personal revelation if you keep asking. And if you are thinking right, it was the HS that gave you the question.
A young Christian said to me the other day, “If we knew the reason for Why God did everything, our heads would explode.”
While I have no scripture to offer as a backup to my thoughts, Asia Minor was an are frequented by John and his specific work in the area. Think of the seven churches in Revelation.
Hope this helps.

Paul was only forbidden immediately. God had a more strategic route for the Gospel through Europe first. Eventually, however, the Gospel got to Asia and to every place through Paul’s converts in Europe and by Paul himself. So, the prohibition was only temporary, not permanent.
The series on the usage of the Old Testament in The Book of Revelation from Naked Bible Podcast by Michael S. Heiser.
No it’s not. It misrepresents Catholic beliefs and practices.
The desolation already happened. Desolate is desolate.
