It's poor Bible scholarship. Words such as "eternal" and "forever" in proper context are not studied. Virtually all Christian churches teach this false and repugnant doctrine. The Bible says the wicked are "burned up"......"Destroyed" that they "perish"...I love her common sense quotes based on Scripture. Including the injustice of being cast into an oven alive for trillions of years and to never cease.....for a life of maybe 70 to 80 years.
Even one of the Manson killers got paroled and God loves us a lot more than we love others.....it makes God out to be a sadistic monster with a fetish for Sadism. A God with a kink. This is why people think Jesus didn't really die, he went to heaven with the thief that very day...etc. More coming.

You are incorrect about all members of the Manson family being paroled. Gov. Newsom just overturned the parole board’s recommendation that Patricia Krenwinkel (Manson’s former girlfriend) be paroled. This just happened (Oct. 13).
“Tex” Watson will not be eligible for parole until 2026.
Bruce Davis was denied parole in 2022.

Excellent observation. This doctrine of an immortal soul came from Greek Philosophy as I recall. And of course the Eygptians built the pyramids so the soul of the departed could find the body.
Virtually every religion teaches unconditional immortality. The Bible is the only one that doesn’t. The wages of sin is death not immortality. And people say it’s separation from God. Yes...and in death we are separated from God. But dead means dead.
When Jesus raised Lazarus, he went to the tomb..he didn’t call him down from heaven. Jesus did not go to paradise with the thief that day...he told Mary later.....do not touch me for I have not yet ascended.
Jesus simply said...I say to you TODAY, you will be with me in paradise. The thief is dead, asleep, resting and Paul says the dead will be resurrected when? At the second coming.
The new testament and old talk about THAT DAY, THAT DAY, THAT Day......so much. And THAT day is the 2nd coming. THAT DAY is not the day we die...in this context.

Too bad Adam fell for it too. Sex and drugs. Satan promised her some kind of elevated state, (drugs) and Adam probably didn’t think God could replace her. She was too hot. I’m sure she was too. Perfect.
But God held Adam responsible. He came looking for Adam. The male througout scripture is the spiritual head of the family as God designed. Genesis says God came down after the fall and “The Lord called to the man.” Genesis 3.

Can you show me the text that indicates Adam was right there with Eve when she was tempted?
I did not say “every” one....I said “even” one. You simple misread it. No harm no foul. we all make mistakes.

I think the difference between you and I here on this topic is so small, that we’re in agreement. Our agreement it was Satan speaking is enough for me.

We can agree to disagree. I believe that serpent was literal, thus the curse to crawl on it’s belly eating dust. There is even evidence they could fly at one time. I saw a documemtary about what they find in fossils or something and unexplained areas where it appears perhaps wings once were.
Corporate curses are Biblical. I believe it was a corporate curse and only God knows why. He does not reveal everything to us. But we can agree to disagree.

This would be my position too. Plus a corporate curse on that particular creature. Only God can explain.
Humanity was corporately curse by one’s man sin. Thankfully Jesus made a way out of this curse we are under. That is why one must be “born again” because we are born lost.
