I want to show you a Hebrew truth from Jeremiah that'll blow your mind. In chapter 31 in verse 6, we read, which means there is coming a day, there will be a day when they shall cry. They shall they shall call out. Who's going to call out?
The watchmenupon Mount Ephraim. Now, this is interesting. The word watchman only appears 12 times in the Tanakh, the Old Testament. And three of those times the word notzrim is used. This is an amazing word. The word notzrim like most of the words in Hebrew have a triconental root, a threelet root. And no goes back to the word netzer.

That gentiles are grafted into the vine is not new and not a surprise. This is a core understanding of Christians.
Yes, but it is something that many Jews have trouble with. Some think that Christians are claiming to be displacing them.
It is also nice to see Scriptural support that does not come from the New Testament but is prophesied in the Old Testament.
“Dan Bergman is showing that Christians are branched into God’s promises for the Jews through the Christ.”
Another nonsensical mumbo-jumbo that makes Jews the center of Christian salvation. The center is Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus is who he is through sonship, not because he took on flesh and was born into a Jewish family.
I my personal studies of the Bible I have come to believe that ANYTHING doctrinal and /or required to understand Christ in the new testament has a direct scriptural reference in the old testament, God’s word bears witness to itself.
John 8:14-18 ESV Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going. You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true. I am the one who bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me.”
He’s not confused at all on the issue. The Jews became exclusionary and rejected non-Jewish believers for the promises of Abraham. He is showing that it was God’s plan to include everybody in the promises of Abraham. The OT prophsies this.
“That gentiles are grafted into the vine is not new and not a surprise. This is a core understanding of Christians.”
Absolutely. A couple weeks ago our pastor’s sermon was about this.
I did not say he was confused. It is early in the morning, but the promises to Abraham were all physical in nature and had nothing to do with salvation. And he was called father of the faithful.
Review
The vine of YESHUA is a JEWISH vine. Jews and Gntiles who are truly saved are together on the vine.
“The vine of YESHUA is a JEWISH vine.”
Can you cite a scripture verse to back that? Jesus never said that. Paul never said that.
But I already know, it is not in the Bible, so I don’t have to believe that to obtain salvation, which is faith in Jesus, who is the Son of God, who existed before human history.
Some of you are taking this Jewish worship a bit too far.
All of Roman’s 11. These things don’t mean that Israel is special in itself , but chosen. Gentiles re grafted into the Israel of GOD . Unsaved Jews are cut out.
