I would like to know why reading the Bible makes me cry, now.
Not a bad cry.
Just an “overwhelmed” desperate sort of cry.
The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit hears our growns/cries and speaks for our hearts.
Romans 8:26-27 (ESV):
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

I really am at a loss for words to describe what I’m feeling.
It’s like something is grabbing my heart and the tears are “anguish” and joy at the same time.
I wish I had better words.

I’ve also been reading Jeffrey McClain Jones’ book series on Amazon free and it’s novels about Jesus literally popping up in peoples’ lives and “ hanging out” with them for the purpose of drawing them closer to Him.
Not gonna lie, those books make me ugly cry.
They are really good.
And now, instead of walking around talking to myself, I talk to Him.
I’m sure I still look like a raving lunatic but •whatever•.
