Anselm: We object! We won’t tell you what we object to or to whom our wrath is directed, but we object!
Cartoon Network: Only WE can presume this obscure, secret objection. BTW, it has to be Pope Francis, or a friend of his, or someone he met, or someone he blessed and wrote something, or something. But only we know!
The rest of the sane world: Is this Monty Python? If not, who cares?
True Catholics, unlike yourself, care.
Care about what, ebby? Did you read the article? It’s entirely speculation without a basis in fact. I know you care about such non-sense; “true catholics” do not care about such speculation or non-sense. It’s simply your cartoon network devining reasons to hate Pope Francis - your favorite target.
I care. Even someone who is not a full fledged traditionalist should be upset that this creep criticized a saintly young man who loved Christ with all of his heart and soul. Why would any Catholic compare such things to Monty Python?
You don’t have a problem with this professor? The writers and journalists at Rorate Caeli do their homework. I doubt they’re making it up.
Because oystir pretends he's a catholic in order to attack the Catholic Church.
Really? What proof or source did Rotate provide to their wild assumption? None. The article leads to what was originally posted on a website. Did you bother to read or look, Gilligan? Of course not.
They published a Francis fetish.
If anybody has a francis fetish, it’s you, foister.
P.S.
He’s dead, Jim.
But undoubtedly, you probably would agree with this fellow anti-Catholic of yours.
I read the whole thing, Maynard. It’s a solid piece of journalism. Why don’t you go over to Cardinal Turk’s palace and eat pizza with fatso?
Here is the headline of the article: “His Own University is Now Against Him...”
The article then links Grillo to Francis. Then in part somewhat agrees with Grillo but also really trashes Grillo (whether he deserves it or not is irrelevant.)
The cartoon network then uses this line to link the article to the headline (BTW, it is a non-sequitur): “The reaction to Grillo under the New Administration was so stunned that today even his university, the Anselmianum (Pontifical Athenaeum of Saint Anselm), where he had reigned supreme for the past decade, published a note distancing themselves from the private writings of their professors”
They then use referenced quote from the University that makes absolutely no direct or indirect reference to Grillo. It possibly speaks about others and their possible bad actions. No Grillo whatsoever! It has nothing to do with Grillo’s linked article.
In fact, they then say about the big referenced quote “They do not even mention Grillo by name!” How’s that for logic? It is if ebby wrote it. ImagineThat!
It’s a circle jerk insinuating that Grillo is condemned by his old university when, in fact, he is not!!! The headline is FAKE and the article isn’t supported by anything. If the cartoon network wants to criticize Grillo, criticize what he wrote in the linked article. It has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with “his university.”
Reading is fundamental, Gilligan.
Are you obsessed with Bob Denver?
If the moniker fits you, Gilligan, then wear it proudly.
ebby can be Wrongway Feldman.
No more Jesuits.
I know it's not your favorite queer website: New Ways Ministry:
Building bridges between the LGBTQ community and the Catholic Church since 1977
What were they whispering about, foister? I'm sure you have the inside scoop.
Oystir is as anti-catholic as Grillo is.
That’s why he blindly defends his fellow heretic.
So you must be Harold Hecuba.
