“READ THE BIBLE. BLESS ISRAEL, BE BLESSED. CURSE ISRAEL, BE CURSED.”
What about Jerusalem being completely annihilated in 70 A D because they rejected Jesus? You did not know that? The modern state of Israel rejects Jesus; the Christian calendar used by all the world cannot be used in Israel for official business. You really think Jesus pines after the modern state of Israel as they reject Him when he allowed their annihilation in 70 A D for the same thing?
“After the 4th Chapter in Revelation, the Church is not spoken of...”
The whole book is about the church. It is addressed specifically to the church, not to the Jews, not to the entire world.
Armageddon is about the defeat of God’s enemies, not Israel’s enemies.
Maybe the battle between Jacob and Esau are strong in this country as it is in Israel. Perhaps the US is the remnant of Edom. I know many believe that, although I don’t see it. But that would explain why the US and Israel are split along the same lines.
Perfectly said. Agree 100%.
Trump’s timing? Trump didn’t time this.
I thought that wording was odd, as well.
And...Amen! to your entire post.
This is a key question.
We know it to be a secular country with a preponderance of people of Jewish descent.
They are a definite ally and, as Christians, we need to pray for them and others to come to Christ. Where our goals align, we are best to work together. The US and Israel should work to hone each other, as well, as all good allies should do.
I believe Trump is trying to see how much can get done without getting into a war in Iran. I also believe Iran has threatened a mass casualty event (‘will not be forgotten for hundreds of years’) if we bomb Iran—and we don’t seem to know what that might be. Since Trump’s Doomsday plane is in play now and Trump has held off additional weeks, my guess is that we have a concern around a dirty nuclear bomb or a real one that made it to Iran or elsewhere, to be used.
With our country’s open borders, we really do not have a good idea what exactly is “sleeping,” here. Fighting this will unleash it, though.
Then why does he come to protect Isreal in the battle of Armageddon?
There is suddenly what appears to be a huge increase in the Candice Owens wing of the Republican Party twisting logic to turn against Israel — even if it means supporting Iran.
Indeed.
They’re breaking out from Republican/”conservative” clothing .... with their true colors.
Consider this: Is today’s U.S.A the nation of America of the founding father’s and their constitution?
The people of Israel have, for the majority, lost their belief in God. As have most of America, and most of the rest of the world who once were mostly Christians. This was prophecied. The Bible tells us that in the last days the world will be “as in the days of Noah.”
However God has not changed. His covenants remain true. Even if Israel has become unrecognizable as they did several times in their history, God’s covenant remains and God WILL protect them as He see’s fit. If this is the “end times” of Revelation, He will protect and preserve them!
EBH, I do believe what you so beautifully said, for the most part. What I am wrestling with is our roll in this, since I am a believer in “Covenant Theology” and that God has a separate covenant with Christian Gentiles …. Though it is closely tied to His covenant with Israel. What is our roll? What is God calling America to do?
Your words about this do make a lot of sense, and yet I feel there may be more to it than for America to stay out of the fight. I’m praying for understanding and praying that President Trump has understanding to listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
>>> Then what happens to us? How do we go from being the most powerful nation in the world to being silent at the end?
Your biblical answer I believe is found in two places:
Zechariah 12 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
The obvious question here is whether or not America has been or is “gathered against Israel” The answer may surprise you... because it’s clear as day in the Abraham accords. Even Trump himself promotes this, which calls for a two state solution. Now... without getting into a debate about Trump, for whom I voted, let us roll back the clock to note just WHO FUNDED EVERYTHING that is being launched at Israel right now... and that would be Obama... with his planeloads of cash to Iran that built all those big beautiful nuke producing bunkers we are talking about blowing up now. Bottom line here being this; AMERICA FUNDED THIS WAR AGAINST ISRAEL... We have been playing BOTH SIDES.
So I believe we are guilty from God’s perspective...
and therefore, the US WILL BE cut into pieces when “sudden destruction” comes... rendering America irrelevant during the 7 year tribulation. The biblical proof of this lies in the wording I quoted above... where it says that “ALL nations will be gathered against it”. With Trump in office you can rightfully argue that we are currently sided WITH Israel... but we know how quickly that can change now don’t we.
I said two places... here’s where I think # 2 is:
Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
The first trumpet here follows the 7th seal... so it is well into the tribulation period... but I wanted to note that the western hemisphere (North & South America) comprises almost exactly 1/3 of the earths land surface... and this trumpet judgment describes fire from heaven (meteor storm) burning up the surface of the earth... which makes sense that the middle east side of the earth is protected from this particular event.
He didn’t protect the world from Israel. What was the battle of Armageddon all about?
Why does Jesus rule the world from Jerusalem for a thousand years?
The physical world that we live in, including the entire universe and everything else Created that we can and cannot see, exist within a spiritual realm. The Spirit of God, Almighty God, and His Son Jesus Christ—that Spiritual realm.
There are principalities and powers, rulers of the dark world, and dominions, and spiritual wickedness in high places. This is because Lucifer, who sought to rebel against God—his Creator, because of his desire for ultimate power and pridefulness, was cast out of Heaven along with a third of the angels that rebelled with him. This when the archangel Michael and his angels fought and overcame Lucifer and his wicked angels.
Satan is called “the prince of the power of the air.” There are three heavens: Heaven, where God’s Throne is, outer space, 2nd heavens, and the Earth’s atmosphere. This is where Satan operates and throws his fury upon earth, because he was cast down to earth. Now Eve and Adam had the opportunity to run to Father God and away from Satan in The Garden, instead of choosing to rebel against Someone who loved them so much that He gave them the freedom of choice as to remain in the Peace of a Wonderful Relationship with Him.
They decided that beautiful and from all aspects eternal Communion with God wasn’t enough. Every time I read that in Genesis, it breaks my heart.
Why? Why did Adam and Eve choose death and destruction over eternal life and peace?
Satans fury upon the earth grows more violent by the day, but will be worse than anything mankind has ever seen or will again during the seven years of Tribulation. God will pour out judgment on the earth and mankind that have shook their fists in Christ’s face and said “NO!” .
This fury from Satan, “because he knows his time is short.”
No matter what happens, GOD is in control. In Job, we are shown that Satan cannot do anything outside of God’s allowance. God allowed Satan to shake Job to his core, yet restored everything back to him more than he could imagine. In all his suffering and anguish, Job never cursed God. His faith was in God, not his possessions nor his family. He loved God more than anything. “I know my Redeemer lives, and that I will stand with Him on that day.”
Me too it’s why I sat down and wrote this and posted it. I’m not saying I’m right, in fact, I say I’m not a theologian. But I am at a point where I’m asking what does it mean to bless Israel? What does it mean when the pattern in the Bible clearly shows that when Israel depends on other nations for helping their battles. God doesn’t provide protection for them.
I did fully expect some discussion on this matter, because when the very fact that the Bible tells us what God expects from Israel, when going to war, it is though that war is a process of faith.
“Then why does he come to protect Isreal in the battle of Armageddon?”
The account says not a word about protecting Israel during the Armageddon event.
Rev. 19:19
“Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.”
The battle of Armageddon is generally understood to be an allegory of the final battle between good and evil. Much larger than a mere protective battle to protect a country. Why would the entire military of the earth be compelled to attack little Israel when a few missles could do the job, or Israel could vaporize a large invading army.
well, i have completed bible school and 2 certificates from the oldest, apart from rome, seminary in the world.
i an qualified to be a pastor with the AOG. i didnt go into the ministry cuz i never conquered my besetting sin of tearing up tares in my burning desire to fight to expose satans false doctrines in the church.
that said , take or leave the following rebuttals , ignore the message cuz of the sinfulness of me the messanger..

“
Then what happens to us?
/
maybe Gods blessing of our nation is removed cuz we quit blessing israel and we are brought lower that whale feces.
/
When they turn to other nations for help, they lose
\
have you forgotten Cyrus the Great, also known as Cyrus II and Darius ?
darius released israel .
his predecessor cursed israel and was weighed and found wanting, and cursed for cursing Israel. cyrus blessed israel and was was blessed with the throne of babylon.
so we see from scripture that God can use other nations to fight for israel.
/
mistaking Israel's current leadership for Israel's eternal covenant.
so isreal isnt israel ?
amos 9 : 4-6
Amos 9:14-15
14 and I will bring my people Israel back from exile.[a]
“They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them.
They will plant vineyards and drink their wine;
they will make gardens and eat their fruit.
15 I will plant Israel in their own land,
never again to be uprooted
from the land I have given them,”
says the Lord your God
this fulfillment cant be cyrus restoring the freedom of israel cuz they were scattered to the ends of the world in a.d.70 by rome.
they were put back into their land in 1948.
prophecy fulfilled.
so we see israel is israel.
the whole bait and switch that modern israel isnt really israel is patently ridiculous.

maybe cuz we quit blessing israel, were weighed and found wanting, and were brought down.

——>“Where is the United States in the book of Revelation?”
Not there. His knew America would turn our back on Him, and we’ll be absorbed by another entity. And it won’t be pretty.
The Beast from the Earth
Revelation 13:
11Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. This beast had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. 12And this beast exercised all the authority of the first beast and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.
13And the second beast performed great signs, even causing fire from heaven to come down to earth in the presence of the people. 14Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet had lived. 15The second beast was permitted to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship it to be killed.
“ISRAEL IS IMPORTANT TO THE GOD OF THE BIBLE”
“His Chosen People”. A few years ago, my Jewish girlfriend has a shirt, “Chosen Chick”. I thought that was clever.
A nation that began with 13 Colonies, like Christ began with Him and His 12, and grew to 50 states, as the New Covenant Church grew at 50, is a pretty unique and prophetic nation.
It represents a lot of things all at once.
Like the Church.
Even a serpent led church.
Maybe the best way to bless Israel is to walk out the prophecy that’s happened before for the sake of Israel.
What better example to an unbelieving Israel would it be for a nation that represents the New Covenant Church on a nations level, to have its serpent led tail grabbed and transform back into a proper law and order nation instead of the serpent led lawlessness, disorder and just us it had been corrupted into.
That sign could have the same effect it had on unbelieving Israel in Egypt.
But a question would come about with this premise.
Who transforms into a proper law and order sign first for Israel?
Serpent led America or the modern serpent led Church?
Hitler comparisons are overused. But in the case of Iran it is a fascist state run by a Hitler. Just keep that to in mind.
You said, “ …. the pattern in the Bible clearly shows that when Israel depends on other nations for helping their battles. God doesn’t provide protection for them.” I certainly can’t argue that point. We see it over and over in God’s Word.
The New Testament presents the relationship between God’s covenant with Christian Gentiles and His covenant with Israel as deeply interconnected, not totally separate. Gentiles were once “strangers to the covenants of promise” and “aliens from the commonwealth of Israel” (Ephesians 2:12), but through Jesus Christ, Gentiles are now “fellow citizens” and “partakers of the promise” (Ephesians 2:19; 3:6). In Christ, Gentiles are “grafted in” to the covenant people, sharing in the blessings originally given to Israel (Romans 11:17-24).
Being “grafted in” to Israel’s covenant just might mean that we can fight beside Israel without putting them in danger of disobeying God’s command for them to rely solely upon Him.
