A Georgia teenager has claimed she was forced to withdraw from her private high school after bringing a transgender date to her prom.
School officials at North Cobb Christian School reportedly called student Emily Wright to the principals office 10 days after the prom - which was held off-campus - and questioned her about her date.
'I was asked, "Is there anything we should know about the guest you brought to prom?"
'And I knew exactly what they were talking about, so I said, "Yes, he's transgender,"' said Emily, as reported by Fox5.
Emily's mom, Tricia Wright, claimed the school's principal told her they planned to expel her daughter, who only had weeks before she was due to gradate.
'I got a call from the principal who said, "Ms. Wright, I've been informed that Emily brought a transgender guest to prom. Were you aware of that?" I said yes,' she recalled.
'She said, "Well, I'm sorry, Ms. Wright, we're going to have to expel Emily,"' the mom said.
'It was off property. I did sign a form allowing her to bring a guest,' Tricia added.

She knew the school's rules.
However the school was a little dense in that it took them 10 days after the prom to realize that was actually a girl dressed as a boy? They did not realize it the night of and kick them out?
Were they forced to withdraw due to the embarrassment of being caught?
No just forced to withdraw. She’s not embarrassed one bit. She’s upset the christian school is not more “inclusive”.
She is now graduating from a local public school.
This manipulation doesn’t work anymore.
Good.
The tranny gets embarrassed and the girl gets expelled. Handled correctly.
Good riddance to bad rubbish. ๐โ๏ธ
Evidently it does. This is just another example of the threat coming from within. Transgenderism is just a smoke screen that the left uses to gain support from the go along to get along people in the community.
...North Cobb Christian School...
Nothing more needs to be said.
How is this even newsworthy?
It sounds like Emily was feeling rebellious, as many seniors do near graduation. Senior pranks have been a thing for a long time for that reason. It also sounds like Mom was egging her on, all puffed up with virtue signalling.
Too bad Mom didn’t explain to her daughter that enabling her friend’s mental issues wasn’t helping her, wasn’t a kindness to her. And then discuss what might actually be helpful and kind. And redirect her natural rebellious impulses toward a typical harmless senior prank like switching desks or spelling out the class year in Post It Notes near the school entrance.
Absolutely OK with me.

If you watch the video on the link you get the hint that the news crew can’t believe this happened and that the school was being “unChristian”
Yep. I live a couple clicks away from this school. I have to question the education theyโre receiving from a Christian perspective if a student would even think thatโs ok. The student and parents also know the school rules and honor code.
Student knew the rules and decided she didnโt have to follow them. Expelling her gave her a good lesson in life.
Hmmโฆ let me see if I have this straight.
The girl brings a lesbian who dresses like a guy to the prom.
Maybe there was some confusion about the theme of the prom.
Seems like Emily might have thought it was a masqueerade ball.
Ahem.

So... she’s a lesbian. Everything else is a charade.
My high school had a no drinking policy punishable by expulsion). It is also a Christian school, in Georgia.
Bunch of senior guys went drinking/partying and word got out. The news reached the headmaster so he set out to track down who all participated. Turns out his son was one of the boys. All of them were expelled just a month shy of graduation.
That was crazy, but those were the rules.
