It seems to me that anyone campaigning to be chosen as pope should be considered unsuited to the office for that reason alone. But I am probably naive about how many of the earlier popes won the office.

Well, it will be interesting to see who the conclave chooses.

I admit I’m not very savvy with these questions and it’s possible either of those are a better choice.

I do hope we get an anti-woke, conservative Pope and frankly I would love to attend a Latin Mass again. It’s the mass of my childhood, and I loved the sound of it, and I found I felt able to rise to my spiritual side during those beautiful Gregorian chants.
