🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(5/5/25)[Prayer]

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Genesis 1:9-10
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Almighty and Eternal Father,
How Glorious and Wonderful You Are!
Your Magnificence and Perfection are Overwhelming.
And yet, even more-so,
Your Justice,
Your Righteousness,
and Your Profound Holiness!
For It is You Who Made All That Exists,
From the Mightiest Galaxies to the Tiniest Atom.
You Know Us Inside and Out.
Our Hearts and Thoughts belong to You.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”
If you would like to be on or off the Daily Ping List, please let me know.

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Genesis 2:10-14

The first time I ever rode in a large commercial airplane was in 1984. Prior to that, I had only been in small two-seater aircraft, and, when I was 15, had been allowed to take the yoke on a 1932 Taylorcraft. (Dad's best friend was a pilot). Although I had flown, I had never flown over the ocean before.
On the El Al Jumbo Jet flying from JFK in New York to Tel Aviv, I looked down upon the Atlantic Ocean...miles and miles of it. The plane was full of very religious Jewish people, in traditional garb, and all chatting away in Yiddish. My husband had fallen asleep, I had nobody to talk to, so I gazed out on the sea below. Soon, I, too, fell asleep.
Just as the sun was rising, I was awakened by a bustle of activity. All the Religious Jews had left their seats and gathered on one side of the Airplane. All at once, they began Praying, facing Jerusalem. Now this wasn't a quiet, contemplative kind of prayer. It involved bending, bowing, swaying, and the prayers were out loud. A thought crossed my mind that perhaps this activity might unbalance the Aircraft (like Guam tipping over?) and I quietly asked the Flight Attendant if everything was OK.
"Morning prayers. No problem. Welcome to Israel!"
Since my only previous flight experiences had been on little planes where they seat you according to your weight, I found "Morning Prayer" on an El Al Flight 32,000 feet in the air to be a somewhat unnerving experience!
When Planet Earth is seen from Space, it appears as a beautiful blue orb. That's because most of the Planet is Water. Continents and Islands break things up a bit, but the seas dominate from nearly every viewpoint. Scientists consider planetary oceans to be a prerequisite for LIFE. God knew this long before the scientist did, and prepared a World where life would flourish. That meant a round planet of a certain size and mass, with the right gravity, atmosphere, distance from the Sun, magnetic fields, a Moon that is just the right distance away to make tides, a radiation belt that protects the planet from Solar Wind, and magnificent oceans that are Separate from the dry land.
As Goldilocks would say:
"Just Right!"
As The Bible Says:
"God Saw That It Was Good."
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)

Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire,
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and his anointed, saying,
3 ‘Let us burst their bonds asunder,
and cast their cords from us.’
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord has them in derision.
5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 ‘I have set my king on Zion, my holy hill.’
7 I will tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to me, ‘You are my son;
today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron,
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.’
10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear,
with trembling 12kiss his feet,*
or he will be angry, and you will perish in the way;
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Happy are all who take refuge in him.

Amen. I thought you were going to say that the pray-ers who were bowing looked like waves of the sea!
Interesting that the word ocean doesn’t appear until after the flood
