Caleb J. Lines, Senior Minister of University Christian Church, whose church is part of the United Church of Christ (UCC) denomination, might hate Jesus more than anyone we know.
We could tell you that he’s pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, and routinely insists that the bible should not be trusted, that it is not “God-breathed,” and that Jesus did not die for the sins of the world, but this recent Instagram post explains the level of reprobation we’re dealing with.
Months after preaching a sermon where he claimed Jesus was xenophobic and misogynistic and needed to be corrected and called out by the Canaanite woman, Lines preached a Christmas/Advent sermon where he used the story of Jesus’s mother Mary saying ‘yes’ to the angel Gabriel as an example of a pro-choice power move.
Going on a 10-minute tangent about how the scriptures support abortion, Lines points out that even Mary was given the option to have Jesus or say no and decline the pregnancy, a choice he says many women do not have on account of unjust anti-abortion laws.

Well, you have to admit, Mary choose well and should be considered an example of making the right choice.
Personal opinion here but anyone having anything to do with commercialized churches is an idiot. The left has infiltrated every aspect of life and needs to be eradicated.
Religion is free, requires no weekly contributions and church gatherings. Religion is between you and God alone. Anything else is BS brought to you by those who want to destroy that personal relationship.
This guy needs to buy a Bible. It is clear that Mary’s time to choose was BEFORE Jesus was conceived (which is how it should be today). There is no hint that after He was conceived she would have even considered murdering Him in her womb.
EVERYONE has the right to choose and Mary did. If someone wants to butcher a baby they can choose that , they don’t need a law. Though maybe a law allowing it makes them feel they have some sort of moral support for the act.
One can choose God and follow Him or choose evil and follow Satan.
So one chooses Heaven or Hell! Your choice!
The Sodomy churches think they can make our heads explode or something.

There IS a line that you can cross with GOD,like Pharoah, where he’s says NO MORE, and gives you up. This is coming very close.
Gossip has it that she was President of the local chapter of planned parenthood.
The UCC can hardly call itself a church. Having said that, there are probably a few local churches with Bible believing pastors and congregations. But shame on them for staying within that denomination.
What about the Biblical precept, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25.
I don’t go to church, no need. My relationship with God is between me and him. I don’t need a weekly surmon on someone’s opinion of what they think the bible says or means.
Which bible would be the first question and why did you choose that one.
Any church that ask for money is commercialized. Religion is free.
