Dispelling The Confusion Concerning The 2,300 Days. Those who are in opposition to the doctrine that the 2,300 days find their terminus in the end of the world, are, among themselves, at strong variance over when the days do, supposedly, end, just as they are over the truth of a multitude of other doctrines. Fully evident therefore is the fact that none of them have the truth on the subject. And yet in spite of this fact, they fail to see that the spirit which has led them into their present state of schism, doctrinal difference, strife, and confusion, unparalleled in history, cannot possibly be the Spirit of Truth, Who alone can lead them into the truth of the 2,300-day prophecy. Thus they continue darkening Christendom with what they imagine and proclaim to be light on it.

The 2300 day/year prophecy of Daniel 8 and the 70 weeks/490 year prophecy run concurrently. They are from the SAME vision. If Daniel’s 70 week vision is 490 YEARS, which it is, the 2300 day/year vision must also be YEARS. Prophetic time is a day for a YEAR.
Daniel 8:14 is in fact the high point of prophecy. A time prophecy so precise, so exact, using the day year principle (no other method works and history proves it). We are in the Judgement Hour.
The atonement was complete at the cross.....”IT IS FINISHE”..the judgement will soon be complete in the heavenly temple.....”IT IS DONE” Revelation 16. Then the plagues and after all cases are settled.
And the world hates the Jesus but they can’t get to him...so they go after his people who keep the Commandments of God, the remnant and that includes the 4th commandment.

William Miller saw it and he calculated it down to the day. Unfortunately, he had the wrong interpretation. With him being wrong about what would happen on that day in 1844, does that make the 2300 day prophecy not equal 2300 years? Nope. If 70 weeks is 490 years, the 2300 days MUST be 2300 years. Same vision, same concurrent starting point. Even Evangelicals know that Daniel’s 70 week prophecy is 490 years. However, they chop off the last week (7 years) and transport it by magic carpet over 2000 years into the future, as part of their false doctrine of dispensationalism, which ultimately comes from Jesuit Futurism.
If William Miller was wrong, it means he wasn’t a prophet. And if he is not a prophet, none of the rest of his teachings are authentic either. There is no middle ground, the Bible says so.

The only thing William Miller ever claimed to do was STUDY the bible and come up with a CONCLUSION. There were never any visions from God, visits from angels, etc... Again, all he ever did was STUDY the bible and come up with a CONCLUSION.
Miller’s CONCLUSION, based on his correct time frame of the 2300 day/year prophecy, was incorrect. He thought Christ would return to earth that day as the 2nd coming. He was wrong. But, he correctly figured out that prophetic time is a day for a year, and 2300 days = 2300 YEARS.
Vespa, what’s amazing to me (and very sad), is that even pastors, including those who claim that title on this site, deny that only one vision is discussed, linking the 70 week and 2300 day/year prophecies. They ALL agree that 70 weeks is 490 years (day/year reckoning). Yet, they will not admit that those 490 YEARS are taken from the longer 2300 year prophecy, and that they begin concurrently. Such an important time prophecy, and they blew it. The only answer is that they PURPOSELY do not want to acknowledge it. It goes way beyond just being deceived. It is willful.

The word “determined” found in Daniel 9:24, “Seventy weeks are determined”, literally means, “Seventy weeks are cut off”. Although the word translated as “determined” is not used anywhere else in the Bible, it is found in Jewish literature, and it means “cutting off” from something longer. Since Daniel 8 presents the 2,300-years prophecy, whose starting point is not given in Daniel chapter 8, it logically follows that when the next chapter (Daniel chapter 9) talks about 490 years as “determined” or “cut off”, they can be “cut off” only from the 2,300 prophetic years mentioned in the previous chapter. After all, what else could this period be “cut off” from but another, and longer, time prophecy?
There are many reasons why the 70-week prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 and the 2,300 evenings and mornings prophecy of Daniel 8:14 belong together: 1. both are time prophecies; 2. the specific terminology of “vision” and “understanding” links them (see Dan. 8:26-27 and Daniel 9:23); 3. both interpretations of the prophecies were given by Gabriel (see Dan. 8:16 and Daniel 9:21); 4. the only part of the vision not explained in Daniel chapter 8 was the vision about the 2,300 evenings and mornings (sometimes translated as “days”) in Daniel 8:14; 5. Daniel chapter 8 contains the vision and then a partial interpretation of it, while Daniel chapter 9 has an interpretation only, in this case the interpretation of the only part of Daniel chapter 8 not interpreted — which was the 2,300-day prophecy of Daniel 8:14, the one part of the vision that Daniel had not understood (see Dan. 8:27).

Daniel 7 declares that the Little Horn/ANTICHRIST power comes out of the 4th beast (ROME) and is present up until the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. It persecutes the saints for 1260 YEARS. It receives a deadly wound, but then the world marvels as it comes back. There is only one entity that meets this prophetic description, and that is the Papacy. Every Protestant Reformer saw it and understood it, right from the pages of the bible, and verified by history. It is the Papacy.
Not so… who tempted Christ? Who gets tossed out of heaven in Revelation 12.? . Jerusalem is where the fake will set up shop! Have you never read?
Who was in the Garden of God. … the old serpent called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.. Right there beside the Tree of life.. and the Adam and Eve partied in the fig grove with the old serpent.. in spite of the Heavenly Father telling the Adam NOT to touch it. Flesh man has a long history of ignoring the Word of God.
Now when exactly did the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, gain that knowledge?
Christ knew the words of Daniel, and declared ‘time’ had been shortened.. for the elect’s sake..
Satan is the antichrist ONLY in the primary sense. Prophecy describes the PAPACY as the Little Horn/ANTICHRIST power. It is an absolute prophetic FACT that the Little Horn/ANTICHRIST power comes out of ROME, the 4th beast world power, and lasts until the 2nd coming of Christ. That point is prophetically INTISPUTABLE. Every Reformer had it wrong? Nope.
No flesh being is going to deceive anyone. he/she is Jesus coming to save if you just bend a knee.. there is nobody anywhere on this earth that can snap his/her fingers and cause lightening..
The fake Jesus will deceive all but the elect.. That is from Jesus.. not some fake preacher/priest/prophet!
Satan offering to Christ as Christ’s first mission (called the temptation) is exactly what is going to happen.. literally. 99% of the population alive will bend a knee! The fake comes first.
Is the Little Horn in Daniel 7 the ANTICHRIST power?
Yes…. The whole world will bend the knee…. Except for the elect.. Paul says the elect were chosen before the foundation of the world (age).. Playing Jesus will be the appearance of holy, holy, holy…. Don’t you love Jesus? What did the Serpent tell Eve? This the first tribulation.. mass deception.
Daniel 7:
The Little Horn/Antichrist power is a system, REPRESENTED BY A MAN (see verse 8). Its counterpart in Revelation is the first beast of Revelation 13.
It is NOT Satan, and can ONLY be the Papacy.
*Location: out of 4th beast and among the ten horns (v.8)
*Timing: after the ten were established (v.8)
*Uprooted three of the ten horns (v.8)
*Eyes and mouth of a man (v.8)
*Persecutes the saints (v.21, 25)
*Different from the other ten horns (v.24)
*Speak out against God (v.8, 11, 20, 25)
*Little Horn attempts to change God’s times and laws (v.25)
*Have power for a time, times, and half a time (or three and a half years, forty two months, or 1260 days - see Revelation 12:6, 14) (v.25)
