No details on when clergy abuse report might become public, or who objects to releasing it

A report into clergy abuse across multiple dioceses in Massachusetts, based on investigations that took place years ago under then-Attorney General Maura Healey, is still not available to the public. Andrea Campbell, the state’s attorney general since January 2023, said Tuesday that it’s out of her hands when or whether to release the findings.

Appearing on Boston Public Radio, Campbell fielded questions around why the office she’s led since January 2023 has yet to make the document public. Survivors and advocates told New England Public Media last year that investigators from the state attorney general’s office interviewed them 2021 about abuse within the Worcester, Fall River and Springfield dioceses.

Campbell asked the public to be patient with her, but did not put a timeline on when the report might become available.

“I take sexual abuse allegations — you know, I’m a mom of two boys — very seriously, by whoever,” she said. “In this particular case, I inherited a report that was completed, sitting there. And now I’m doing what I can to see what we can do in terms of releasing it. But that being said, it’s not up to me personally.”

In 2003, Massachusetts’ then-Attorney General Thomas Reilly published a report investigating widespread sexual abuse of children within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston over the course of decades. Reilly wrote that the document would serve as an official public record and “confirm to all who may read it, now and in the future, that this tragedy was real.”

A staff member on Campbell’s team told a survivor earlier this year that the office was seeking a court’s approval to release the report involving the other dioceses, New England Public Media reported.

Campbell stuck close to that line on Tuesday, repeatedly saying the matter is “in the courts.”

Waiting for ALL Statutes to run out.

For ALL of the offending priests to die or be “re-located”.

as long as the chursh keeps donating to the decision making pols.. The report is likely to never come out.

What more do we need to know? Unless that crap is STILL going on, the church needs to rebuild itself.

Unfortunately, it has happened in the Orthodox Church, too:

Leviticus 18... the report is already out... it was from God millennia ago. It’s not looking so good for us as a species.

Even the church of every denomination and flavor is currently lacking in the divine power we need to bless the creation, because we as a whole are way way past eyeball deep in our sexual sinning, divorce, adultery, hatred, unforgiveness, murder, unjust violence, perversion and inexhaustible rebellion.

If God’s power to manifest in the Church(es) today... most of the leadership and followership... would be renamed, Ananias and/or Saphira... and end up being carried out at room temperature by the Lord’s merciful and just intervention.

Lord deliver us from our sin-filled ways, by your power, grace, mercy and interventions of holiness. Change our hearts. Please help your followers to repent for each and every ones own personal offenses against your faithful holiness. We are guilty as a people, nation, families and individuals.

We cannot make America great again, until God first makes repentance great again through repentance.

Our embracing of abortion as birth control, is evidence that God has ALREADY given us over to a reprobate mind. It’s a result and proof of national rebellion against God’s holiness... not the primary cause.

Lord please forgive us and bring us to repentance and cleansing as a people, as a nation and as individuals. Remove the delusion from our nation, family, and people(s) that teaches the lie that the wages of sin is NOT death... we know that adultery, divorce, perversion and abortion proves it is.

we need you to grant us repentance, faith and salvation from what we have become.

And it certainly happens...at least occasionally...in synagogues. In the series "To Catch A Predator" they caught at least one cop...one military man...one teacher...one lawyer...one physician...and one clergyman.

In fact they found only *one* clergyman...a Rabbi. And not just any Rabbi...he was a youth councilor.

One can only imagine how often it happens in mosques.
