I had a Priest in Seattle say in a sermon that the MOST DISGUSTING THING WAS TO HAVE TO PUT HOLY COMMUNION ON SOMEONE'S TONGUE!! HE ALSO HAD A STUD EARRING!!
HAD TO REPORT HIM!

Hate to say it, but priests exuding this degree of reflexive contempt for individuals who present themselves to receive Holy Eucharist on the tongue while kneeling are most likely actively living the James Martin Eth Jay lifestyle.

This behavior on the part of the priest (publicly unjustly displaying contempt) constitutes the mortal sin of contumely.
The Priest needs to retire, he cannot face reality.

Are they allowed in church? I can understand his attitude if that’s true...there couldn’t be anything more aggravating than to give a sermon or even a speech and look out and see everyone looking down at a phone which is VERY rude and discourteous. It happens everywhere so why not church? Why bother going? I KNOW the answer, just ruminating!
I highly doubt anyone who is looking at their cell phone during Mass is the one who genuflects for Holy Communion.
Many people follow the readings for the day and the Nicene creed, and also the gloria on their phones. I do and I do not see anything wrong with it. of course if you are looking at your texts or emails that is a different story.
The priests getting upset with people kneeling for communion on the tongue, see these people as calling attention to themselves. I think they are just being traditional and the priest should Chill out and stop being judgmental buttheads.

English and Latin are presented side-by-side. The layout is pleasant, multi-color, easy to read/follow, etc.
Are the lay faithful assisting at such a mass nevertheless to reject as irreverent the use of their cell phones for such a purpose?
