Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - "The result" of the agreement between China and the Holy See on the appointment of bishops "is good, I am happy." This is what Pope Francis said during the usual press conference on the plane on his return flight from Singapore, the last stop of his long Apostolic Journey to Asia and Oceania.
Responding to the question on the agreement posed by the journalist Stefania Falasca for the Chinese online newspaper Tianou Zhiku, the Pontiff said: " I am pleased with the dialogues with China. The results are good. Even for the appointment of bishops, things are progressing with goodwill. I have spoken with the Secretariat of State, and I’m happy with how things are going.
"As for China, I see China as an “ilusión”, meaning I would like to visit China. It’s a great country, and I admire and respect China," he added.
"It is a country with an ancient culture, a capacity for dialogue - continues Francis - to understand each other that goes beyond the different systems of government it has had". "I believe China is a promise and a hope for the Church", he continues
And to conclude he affirmed: "Collaboration is possible, and certainly for conflicts. Cardinal Zuppi is working in this area, and he has contacts with China". (Agenzia Fides, 14/9/2024)

Ping
Of course the commie POS is happy. He never says anything bad about China. This pig can’t go to hell fast enough.
Let’s not rush to conclusions, wait until you see the details. The details of the previoys agreement, in full transoarency, were never released and these wont be either. So quiet and keep waiting. Papal transparency, China transparency: two peas in a pod.
Wonder if they will have TLM?
They have disappeared completely. There is no news about the underground church in China. Proably for their own safety.
A traitor to God, a traitor to the Church, and a traitor to Western Civilization. May God remove him soon.
